Opportunity is knocking
at our door! Gutenberg College, a “Great Books” school, is excited about
coming over the mountains from the Willamette Valley to join the Sisters and
Central Oregon community.
Gutenberg professors
and staff bring a college environment that provides a fertile ground for
developing students who are Critical Thinkers, Independent Scholars, and
Responsible Citizens.
Gutenberg students
are excited about the local opportunity to engage in creative adventures (like
a College Film Festival), participate in community programs, and enjoy the
surrounding wilderness area.
For the Sisters
Community, Gutenberg College offers open lecture forums on Fridays for local
residents to engage “great books” literature, adult summer study programs, and
arts expositions as well as adding an intellectual panache to our local
culture.

Gutenberg College joins our community, we all benefit, but it will take a team
effort. There are plenty of ways to get involved and make this opportunity a
