June 7th: A Taste of Gutenberg BBQ


Gutenberg College presents: "A Taste of Gutenberg" BBQ, June 7th at 5:30 pm. You are invited to attend the Taste of Gutenberg BBQ at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, June 7th with Gutenberg faculty and students at the new college facility across from the Sisters Post Office (the old Weitech and Multnomah building). Observe and participate in a "classroom experience" with professors and students. Find out how Gutenberg College integrates art, science, and faith into a Great Books curriculum. And ask the Founder and President, professors, and students any question you have about the college and their move to our community. Below is a tentative schedule:

5:30 – 6:30       Dinner, Music, and Key-Note Address by David Crabtree, President Gutenberg College

6:40 – 9:00       Open House: Informational Opportunities and Break-out Sessions:

6:40 – 7:10       Session 1:
                         Room 1—Sample Discussion with students & tutors, visitors observing — New Testament parable
                         Room 2—Art and the Gutenberg Experience
                         Room 3—What are Great Books? 

7:20 – 7:50       Session 2:

8:00 - 8:30        Session 3:
